SUMMER SPRITZER

My pal Tes and I had a great time at a fun little rooftop Summer Spritzer hosted by the lovely Dean of South Social and Home (side note: if you are getting married you should seriously consider hiring her as your planner, she's a gift from the wedding Gods). Whitney dreamt up some lovely wine spritzer's for all to enjoy on Viktor's amazing rooftop. Isn't this the perfect spot for a Summer party?!

Read more about the evening over on Whitney's blog! She summed it up perfectly!

LA COLOMBE // XO CHICAGO

After a short and completely unintentional hiatus, Linn, Hannah and I are back to showing you all the goodness Chicago has to offer. We've been focusing on coffee, lunch and brunchy places around the city and we've been having A LOT of fun. It's amazing what some time spent over something good to eat with your friends can do for your soul.

Today we are are heading to one of my very favorite brunch spots in the city, look for it on the blog next week but in the meantime check out our most recent post about a great little coffee spot in Wicker Park, La Colombe.

PUERTO RICO // IN POLAROIDS

This is the last of my Puerto Rico pictures, I promise! When I travel, it's always hard to decide what cameras to bring with me, but one that is always in my bag is my Polaroid camera. I actually have a few and sometimes it's difficult to decide which one to bring along (I am extremely sentimental!) but I always have a Polaroid camera packed!

You can see scans of the instant shots I took on my Flickr page

Thanks for looking back on my trip with me this past week! Now to decide which photos to print and hang up!! I'm leaning towards all the ones with palm trees and pink buildings in them!

PUERTO RICO // PART EIGHT

Puerto Rico Part Eight.

El Viejo San Juan, or the old San Juan is one of my favorite places to visit in Puerto Rico. It has a rich history, beautiful old buildings and is so colorful! As you can see, I couldn't get enough of all those beautiful pastels and brightly painted buildings. When you're strolling through the mostly brick streets, you feel like you've been transported to Europe. It's definitely a fun place to spend the day exploring, loading up on touristy tchotchke's, eating piragua's and seeing all the cool boutiques with local art. If you can only spend a weekend in Puerto Rico, I would suggest spending it here!

I love you, Puerto Rico!
