Next Wednesday I am heading to NYC for a few days on a fun girls only trip with my Mom and Aunt! We are going to do all sorts of fun dorky sight seeing around the city and I can't wait.
My friends have been amazing enough to show me the fun & tasty Brooklyn shops and eateries but my Mom and Aunt want to do their exploring in Manhattan. Any recommendations on not super fancy but not hole in the wall eateries not to be missed in the city?
Now to spend the next few days agonizing over which cameras to bring with me.
XO
P.S.
I'm watching E.T and
a.) I would be terrified to bring an alien into my house.
b.) I have no recollection what so ever of an older brother in this movie.
c.) Does E.T make anyone else really sad?
pio pio is a great peruvian chicken place. they have several locations in manhattan. if you like vietnamese, then i highly recommend co ba in chelsea. it's close to chelsea market & the high line. if i think of any other good spots, i'll be sure to let you know!
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like such a fun trip! I hope you have lots and lots of fun. I can't wait to hear about it once your back. :D
ReplyDeleteOooh, you are so lucky! Hope you have a fun trip! I only watched E.T. one time as a kid, but it made me feel so sad and hollow. I never watched it again. Maybe 22 years later it's about time i venture back to explore this piece of so-called movie history.
ReplyDeleteJodi- Thank you for the recommendations! I've actually had Pio Pio before- SO Good!
ReplyDeleteAshley- I am so stoked about this trip. Wait till you see all the cameras and film I've packed!
Linn- It is a very somber movie, especially for being a kids movie! Just the part where he is sick and Nasa is trying to figure him out...that part is so gut wrenching for me! We should give it another shot together!
westville is another good place with a few locations in the east & west village & in chelsea.
