I had this idea to take a picture in a mirror, you know when it does that infinity thing, and then take a picture of the picture and a picture of the picture of the picture...but I couldn't execute the images the way I had imagined them so I gave up. I'm going to try again with a different camera. It will be epic.

I think Jeff Bridges is a great actor. There's some buzz around his music right now but my favorite way Jeff puts himself out there is his photographs (of course). His website is an insane cluster of links and art projects but my favorites are the photo books he makes while filming his movies. He uses some wild panoramic camera and his images give you quite the sense of what it's like movie making. I would love to see one of his actual books in print!

TIN TYPE YOURSELF

California, if I lived in you, I would go to Photobooth + and have myself tin typed. Love that someone is doing it. Don't love that it isn't me! This is one of those Jealous Curator moments!

MALLOWS

I still feel the excitement of a little girl hoping for a window seat when I am gearing up to travel on an airplane. I don't understand the folks who close the window or don't even peek out. I mean, how often are in IN THE SKY?! Floating amongst clouds. Your world looking so little. 

These next few weeks will be busy ones. Busy with wedding work, fun trips, soaking up all the Summer I can and figuring out how to best archive my digital files.

MUPPET PUPS

My friend Tiffany's pups- Charlee and Lula. They are so cute and animated it was hard to believe they weren't cartoons. It was also hard not to squeeze them to death.

DAY DREAMIN'

I spent the past two days day dreaming about living in a loft where my husband has space for his music and I have floor to ceiling windows for naturally lit photography. 

A girl can dream....right?
